Just before Christmas I was surprised with a wonderful gift! News that I am adopting a baby boy!! He is due on February 27, 2012, but Princess A, my 7 yr old, insists that he will be born on Valentine's day. We shall find out soon enough!
With just about 2 months to prepare for a new baby, we have been in full clean out, donate and unclutter mode! The playroom is slowly morphing into a nursery, the living room now is home to an infant swing and pack n play and there is once again Butt Paste in the house!
I have always dreamed of having 3 children. My love life has been lousy - bad choice of men. That makes it a blessing that I have never married any of them (despite coming very close on 2 occasions). I was not about to let the lack of a husband deny me of motherhood. So, in 2005 I adopted my beautiful daugther. She was 10 months old on Gotcha Day! I cannot believe how quickly the past 6+ years have flown! She is now a beautiful, talented and intelligent first grader. She will be a fabulous big sister!
We are now counting down to the arrival of my little man!
